Rick Mastracchio, experienced US astronaut and Orion representative of NASA’s astronauts office recently joined the teams performing the Orion-ESM critical design review at Airbus DS in Bremen.

He supports the teams bringing in his vast experience of numerous space missions, among them a 6 months stay onboard the ISS. During his work he found time to present to an audience of Airbus employees and young students how interesting life in space is and what the challenges are to live and work in space.
