Lars Immisch was appointed Executive Vice President Human Resources for Airbus Defence and Space and a member of the division’s Executive Committee on 1 January 2014. In addition, he holds other legal and organisational positions such as Head of Human Resources Airbus in Germany, Managing Director of Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, Board Member of the Bavarian employers' association “vbm/bayme”, Chairman of MBB Versorgungskasse e.V., Member of the Executive Board of Airbus Pension Trust e.V., Member of the Board of Directors of Ariane Group SAS, and a Member of the Supervisory Board of Geo Insights GmbH.

Prior to these roles, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Compensation & Benefits in the formerly-named Airbus Group/EADS from 2009 and, from 2012, at Airbus.

Between 2006 and 2009, he assumed the position of Vice President and Head of Merger, Reward & Mobility as well as Management Development of the Defence & Security Division. This combined role was renamed later to Head of Executive Management & International HR.

From 2003 to 2005, Lars Immisch served as Head of Finance, Controlling and Administration of Defence Electronics France.

Between 2001 and 2003, Immisch has been Senior HR Business Partner Central Functions and Executive Assistant to the Head of Human Resources Systems & Defence Electronics.

Lars Immisch joined DASA/EADS as a local Human Resources Manager in 1999.

Prior to his responsibilities within Airbus Group and former legal entities, he has been Scientific Assistant (civil law, Roman law and law history) at Friedrich Schiller University Jena.

Lars Immisch was born on 26 April 1967 in Germany and is a lawyer with a German degree (Assessor iur.). He holds a Ph.D. (Dr. iur.) in Law from the Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
