Matthieu Louvot holds the position of CEO of Airbus Helicopters at Airbus and is a member of the Airbus Executive Committee.
Matthieu reports directly to the CEO Guillaume Faury and was appointed to this position in April 2026.
Matthieu previously served as Airbus’ Executive Vice President Strategy from 2024 to 2026. In this capacity, he led company-wide long-term strategic planning and corporate development, proving instrumental in defining strategic roadmaps and driving digital transformation. Other key roles held by Matthieu include:
- Executive Vice President for Programmes, Airbus Helicopters (2019–2024)
- Executive Vice President Customer Support & Services, Airbus Helicopters (2016–2019)
- Senior Vice President Support & Services, Airbus Helicopters (2013–2016)
- Vice President and Head of Strategy and Company Development, Airbus Helicopters (2010–2013)
Prior to joining Airbus, Matthieu was Adviser for Industry at the French Presidency.
Matthieu holds degrees from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale d'Administration.
Born in 1975 in Paris, France, he is a married father of two children.
