Airbus is offering Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approved drone pilot training course at the Airbus Training Centre in Bengaluru.
Designed for micro and small category drones, the five-day course includes both theory and flying lessons from DGCA-approved Airbus instructors. Upon successful completion of the course Airbus will award the candidates with DGCA approved ‘Remote Pilot Certificate’ for small class rotorcraft.
Course structure
The five-day programme includes:
Day 1 & 2: Theoretical sessions
Day 3:
- Drone flight simulator training
- Lab session (basic assembly and maintenance)
Day 4 & 5:
- Practical drone flying classes (at an approved green zone)
- Progress check and skill test
Eligibility criteria
- Age between 18 to 65 years
- Applicants who have successfully completed their class 10th examination from a recognised board
- Applicants should have a valid Indian passport and Aadhaar card
