Focus on defence and space solutions, industrial partnerships

Airbus Group will be present at IndoDefence 2016 with a stand that highlights our products, capabilities and solutions for Indonesia’s defence and space markets. The exhibition takes place at JIExpo Kemorayan in Jakarta, Indonesia from 2nd to 5th November.

The company’s stand, located at Hall D (#D002), will feature a display that includes models of the A400M new generation airlifter, the C295 transport and surveillance aircraft, the H225 Super Puma helicopter, and the Eurofighter Typhoon swing-role fighter.

Airbus Defence and Space will offer visitors information about the A400M, which is currently in service with five nations and is ideally suited to humanitarian and cargo missions. There will also be details on the C295 turboprop aircraft, which offers the best life-cycle costs in its class, and the Eurofighter Typhoon which can perform both air-to-air and air-to-surface missions.

Visitors can also learn more about the company’s secured communications satellites like the E3000. Commercial and institutional customers around the world, including Indonesia’s Ministry of Defence, have selected Airbus technology to communicate critical information.

Airbus Helicopters will present a video display showcasing the wide range of products in its portfolio. This includes the H225 Super Puma, which offers the industry’s best speed, range, payload, and reliability in its class and can be deployed from both ships and land.

Indonesia is an important market for Airbus Group, which is the largest foreign partner in the country’s aerospace industry. Indonesian content is present in almost all of the company’s major aircraft programmes, helping to secure over 600 high-skill jobs in aerospace and other relevant industries in the country.

Airbus Group has a decades-long partnership with PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PT DI) with the collaboration on the NC212, CN235 and CN295 turboprop aircraft programmes. PT DI has also successfully license-produced the N-BO105, N-SA330 Puma and N-AS332 Super Puma helicopters, and supplies H225/H225M helicopter fuselage and tail booms from its facility in Bandung, West Java.
