The home of the Mars Rovers. Degree and technical apprenticeships in Stevenage cover simulations and modelling, mechanical engineering, data science, environmental science, and many others - contributing to some of the world’s most advanced space systems.


Portsmouth is a hub of engineering for space and intelligence systems - with our team in Portsmouth you can complete a degree or technical apprenticeship in systems and software engineering, project management, and electromechanical engineering.


Our cyber security business in Newport offers apprenticeships covering software & cybersecurity engineering, and data analytics. At our Newport site, you will work and get your degree as part of your apprenticeship.

Guildford & Newcastle

Our intelligence systems teams offer the opportunity for degree apprenticeships in various areas of intelligence, networks, and project management.

Filton (Bristol)

The home of wings, fuel systems, and landing gear engineering. Degree apprenticeships include digital & technology solutions, supply chain & procurement, and a range of engineering disciplines.

Easy online application

Applications are open from October to February, with applications being  throughout that time. You must apply online - apprenticeships last between 3 and 4 years.

A short number of interviews

Depending on the programme you apply for, you either go through an assessment centre, video interview, or in-person skills test - normally between January and April.

Who is allowed to do an apprenticeship in the UK?

In the UK, Airbus offers a range of apprenticeship opportunities to all candidates who meet the Airbus apprenticeship entry requirements. Should you be successful during the Recruitment and Selection process, you will be legally required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK and subject to a background check in line with our security requirements.

Our apprenticeship roles do not meet the minimum requirements set by UK Visas & Immigration to enable sponsorship of migrant workers. You can review the available options to come to the UK on the Home Office website.
