Our dedicated teams in the UK work towards the future of sustainable aerospace every day, across a number of projects including fuel systems, landing gear, and the ExoMars Rover.

That's alongside supporting the RAF at Brize Norton, the National Police Air Service, our airline customers, air ambulances across the UK, and designing the next generation of wings and fuel systems.

Supporting all these projects and contracts takes a great team of people in Engineering, Technology, Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Manufacturing, and many other areas. Setting students up for success

Airbus in the UK has many opportunities for students to get a first taste of a career in the aerospace industry:

  • Work Experience: Our virtual programme, with our partner Springpod, covers engineering of aircraft, helicopter, and spacecraft. Students will get handy hints and tips on how to apply to Airbus, too!
  • Apprenticeships: Develop your skills straight from GCSEs in our production environments, or with your A-levels towards a degree. You’ll learn and earn at the same time. 
  • Industry Placement: Learn the ropes of over 16 disciplines, as an undergraduate or integrated masters student. 
  • Graduate Programme: Join the graduate programme straight from university to develop your soft and hard skills in your chosen field.
