The RACER in flight

Pioneering high-speed helicopter flight

The Racer helicopter demonstrator embodies our drive to redefine flight, achieving an optimal balance of speed, cost-efficiency, and environmental performance. Developed with 40 partners across Europe, the Racer can reach a speed of up to 440 km/h while in cruise flight. It is also aiming to achieve fuel savings of around 20%, compared to conventional helicopters flying today. Its unique architecture integrates more than 90 patented technologies, showcasing a bold vision for the future of high-speed vertical lift.

Exploring new frontiers

Our technology is at the forefront of humanity’s foray into space. As a key partner in NASA’s Artemis missions, our European Service Module for the Orion spacecraft is critical to returning astronauts to the Moon. We are also helping to build the future of life in orbit with Starlab, an advanced commercial space station. Our technology is also powering the JUICE mission on its journey to Jupiter, pushing the boundaries of scientific discovery for the benefit of life on Earth.
