Can I apply to more than one AGGP position, and what happens if I submit multiple applications?

We require candidates to apply to only one AGGP position per recruitment cycle. Please evaluate our open opportunities carefully and select the track that best aligns with your long-term career interests and primary qualifications. If your application for your chosen role has formally concluded, the one-application framework remains in place for that intake window. However, please note that our recruitment teams actively review profiles; if they determine that your skills are a stronger fit for an alternative specialty or location, your application may be considered for other tracks internally without requiring a new submission.

Do positions requiring national security clearance have specific nationality or residency restrictions?

Yes, depending on the role. While the AGGP welcomes international applicants across our global sites, specific graduate vacancies situated within high-security sectors—including certain Space, Defence, Eurodrone, and Government-linked Operations businesses—are bound by strict state security protocols. Consequently, these specific roles may require candidates to possess a specific citizenship, dual-national status, or a minimum period of continuous local residency to successfully obtain the necessary security clearances. Please review the "Requirements" section of the individual job posting for detailed clearance criteria before applying.

Do internships, apprenticeships, or student jobs count towards the maximum 3-year professional experience limit?

No. The three-year professional experience limit is calculated based on full-time, relevant professional employment undertaken after completing your graduating degree. Time accumulated during mandatory university internships, sandwich years in industry, dual work/study apprenticeships, or student employment (such as university teaching assistant positions) is excluded from this cap.

If you have more than three years professional experience you can still apply to join #TeamAirbus. Find all open roles here

Does Airbus sponsor work permits and visas for their graduate programme, and what's the salary?

Work permits and visa requirements differ by country, location and role. We do all we can to support these and assist with associated costs if successful in applying for the role.

Salaries vary by location and division, and are benchmarked with the local relevant industry standard.

Please note for Airbus Global Graduate Programme (AGGP) roles in the UK, we are unable to provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. We welcome applications from candidates with existing right to work in the UK or those eligible via other routes (e.g., Graduate Visa, Youth Mobility Scheme). For full eligibility details, please consult UK Visas and Immigration.

What kind of roles are available on the AGGP, and where are they located?

Roles span various areas, including engineering, digital technology, cyber security, supply chain, procurement, human resources, and finance. You'll find opportunities in innovative projects, advanced technologies, and essential business functions. Locations vary each year, but you can expect to see roles available in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, the USA, Canada, Poland, India, China, and Singapore.

What does the online digital assessment involve, and how long do I have to complete it?

Following the successful submission of your initial profile, eligible candidates receive an invitation to complete our online gamified assessment, powered by Arctic Shores. The assessment consists of interactive modules designed to evaluate natural cognitive behaviours, decision-making styles, situational judgment, and problem-solving approaches rather than technical knowledge. You will have a window of three days to complete the evaluation from the time the link is delivered to your inbox. We recommend completing the modules in a quiet environment free from distractions. If you do not meet the criteria from this assessment all applications to the AGGP will be declined, subsequent applications in the same window will also be declined.

How are the rotational placements decided, and can I choose my own rotation path?

Rotational placements are structured to provide a view of our ecosystems. While individual job postings may highlight a primary target path, your specific rotation allocations are determined by a combination of key business requirements, project availability across different sites, and your personal development goals. Graduates work closely with their managers and programme mentors to shape their development path, ensuring exposure to cross-functional initiatives and advanced digital transformations where applicable.

The programme offers opportunities for both national (3, 6, 9 or 12 months) and international (3 or 6 months) rotations but the latter are not guaranteed. Rotational placements must have a clear learning deliverable aligned with the position you are training for to develop both your soft and hard skills.

Will I receive training and development opportunities?

Yes, the AGGP includes structured training, mentoring, and support to develop your professional skills and accelerate your career. You will have soft skills training and development. There is also a Development Week, in which you will join your entire cohort in our Leadership University.

Is the AGGP a temporary graduate scheme, and what is the contract status upon completion?

The AGGP is not a temporary trainee contract. Successful candidates are offered permanent employment contracts from their very first day on the programme. The 24-month programme serves as an accelerated development pathway. Following the completion of your rotations, our standard operational framework requires you to return to your home team and initial hosting position for a minimum duration of 12 months to consolidate your experience and drive continuity within that department.

Are adjustments available for candidates with disabilities or neurodivergent profiles during assessments?

Yes. Airbus encourages applications from candidates with disabilities and has processes in place to support candidates during application and selection, as well as in the workplace. Structured adjustments and specific technical or formatting accommodations can be implemented for both the online gamified assessment stage (you will have an opportunity to raise these adjustments on the assessment platform) and the virtual assessment centre days. We encourage you to flag any adjustment requirements or support needs during your initial application steps so our recruitment team can coordinate with you directly.
