Raising awareness on (dis)Ability

ADAPT is an Employee Resource Group (ERG) dedicated to changing perceptions, building a network and providing support to those living with disabilities.

The ADAPT network is active across France, Germany, Spain, the UK, China and the US. Over the last few years, ADAPT has facilitated a range of events to engage Airbus employees, foster inclusion and support charitable causes.

Lunchtime sessions that welcome internal and external speakers  to share their perspectives on the topic of disability.

Organising workshops and conferences to improve levels of understanding about disabilities and inspire attendees with personal experiences.

ADAPT sources internal and external resources to empower identified groups of people, working on inclusion and implementing policy improvements.

Providing forums that connect people in similar situations, enabling them to build relationships, share support, and overcome obstacles together.

Fostering a neuro-inclusive workplace where every brain belongs

Founded in 2021, the Neurodiversity Community is an international ERG dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive space for neurodivergent employees – including those with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other cognitive differences – and their allies.

The Neurodiversity Community aims to raise awareness and foster acceptance for neurodiversity throughout Airbus by representing the diverse ways our brains function and  shifting the workplace perspective to a mindset that celebrates different ways of thinking and working.

Hosting an annual, global event focused on workplace education and personal storytelling.

Community sessions

Organising fortnightly virtual meetings alternating between safe-space discussions and educational deep-dives.

Awareness and education

Developing and delivering community-led training packages designed to educate leadership and employees on neuro-inclusive practices.

Digital resource hub

Maintaining an international digital platform that provides accessibility tools, multi-language resources, and a space for peer-to-peer connection.

Promoting visibility and acceptance

Ensuring the lived experiences of our members inform company initiatives through a network of Neurodiversity Champions.

Voicing community concerns and driving support

Acting as a bridge between the neurodivergent population and key stakeholders, including HR, Inclusion & Diversity leads, and unions, the Neurodiversity Community aims to voice the specific struggles of its members and collaborates on practical solutions like flexible work schedules and sensory-friendly office adjustments.

Creating a global support network

Connecting members across all divisions to share experiences in good faith and foster a culture of mutual respect.
