Johannes Dienemann is Vice President Customer Support and Civil Programs of Airbus Helicopters North America.
Johannes has been part of the Airbus family since 2006, beginning his career in the EADS Corporate Young Manager Programme. Following his time as Manager of Strategy & Company Development in Marignane, he moved to the United States in December 2008 to take on various Program Management roles. He initially served within the Lakota Program before being named VP of Civil Programs in 2018.
In 2021, Johannes expanded his leadership role to include industrial and operational oversight of Airbus Helicopters’ Columbus, Mississippi facility.
Building on this foundational leadership, Johannes was appointed Vice President of Customer Support and Civil Programs in February 2026. In this combined role, he leads the support strategy for more than 800 customers across the region, identifying service needs and delivering tailored solutions within an evolving market. Additionally, he maintains executive responsibility for the Civil Programs activities from contract signature to aircraft delivery, ensuring the continued excellence of aircraft delivered in North America. This combined role is intended to improve end-to-end accountability towards our customers and further drive customer satisfaction.
Educated in various countries, Johannes has a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Industrial Engineering and Management from Technische Universität (TU) Berlin, Germany; a Master’s of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, Ohio; and has completed studies in the Master of Engineering Management program at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
