Operational agility for surveillance missions
Rapid deployment
Designed to enhance ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) capabilities, the U010 Aliaca is a small tactical uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) that supports faster decision-making and increased operational responsiveness. Classified as a Category 2 UAS, it is available in both fixed-wing (catapult and automatic net recovery) and VTOL configurations, offering high operational flexibility for a wide range of surveillance missions, both maritime and land-based.
Backed by extensive experience in naval operations, this proven system with its VTOL configuration is fully adaptable to all environments. It allows for flexible payload integration, making it possible to equip the system with alternative sensors based on specific mission needs. It is also particularly well-suited for operations in confined or infrastructure-limited environments and is capable of navigating in GNSS-denied environments.
The system is easy to operate and simple to maintain in operational conditions, offering fast deployment day and night.
Extended reach and versatility
Dual propulsion variants
The U010 Aliaca offers two propulsion variants tailored for distinct performance profiles:
The electric version provides low noise operation, with a range of 50 km, an endurance of up to 3 hours, and a payload capacity of 2 kg.
The hybrid propulsion variant (with piston engine) doubles these capabilities, reaching a range of 100 km, 6 hours of endurance, and a payload capacity up to 3 kg. The engine is compatible with JET A1, JP5, and JP8 fuels. The U010 Aliaca is equipped with EO/IR and AIS sensors, making it an ideal solution for surveillance missions.
A high-reliability tactical UAS
DGA-qualified and sea-pro
The U010 Aliaca is a tactical UAS renowned for its robustness and operational reliability. Qualified by the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) and field-proven across numerous missions at sea, it delivers real-time airborne surveillance, detection, and identification. Leveraging its VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) capability, compact design, and minimal logistical footprint, it enables rapid deployment in any theater of operations.
Key missions include:
- Land and maritime Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR)
- Border, coastal, and remote area surveillance
- Combating illegal activities (drug trafficking, illegal fishing, pollution)
- Search and Rescue (SAR) overland and at sea
- Protection of critical infrastructure and sensitive sites
Proven capabilities
Operational since 2022 with the French Navy and built on over 10 years of R&D, the U010 Aliaca is a highly robust and sea-proven UAS. Originally designed to meet rigorous maritime demands, it successfully withstands corrosive environments and adapts to complex on-board electromagnetic constraints, demonstrating exceptional safety and reliability. Forged by this extensive experience in harsh maritime conditions, and powered by its agile VTOL capability, this resilient system is perfectly suited for demanding land-based missions, offering the same level of performance with minimal logistics.
