Pre-entry level

Standard practices
This two-week course for maintenance staff helps applicants adopt best practices. At the end of this course, they will have a solid background on technical documentation, general maintenance procedures, and safety instructions

Avionics
This one-week course is designed for avionics technicians to refresh/improve general knowledge on basic avionics systems, including electrical power systems, lighting systems, flight control systems and radio communication/navigation.

Mechanics
This one-week course is designed for mechanical technicians to both refresh and improve their general knowledge on basic helicopter systems, including the airframe and dynamic, fuel, and hydraulic systems.

Technical English
This one-week immersion course provides a focus on technical vocabulary preparing for a type rating in the English language. This class is recommended for learners having achieved a score of 30-45% on the online English self-assessment.
Standard courses

Familiarisation
This one-week PART 147 approved course provides a general overview of the aircraft. At the end of this course, the applicant will benefit from better understanding of daily operations and increased efficiency for managers.

Type Qualification
This course provides type qualification to maintenance staff subject to regulations. At the end of this course, the applicant will have comprehensive knowledge of the aircraft and autonomy on basic maintenance tasks.

Difference course
This course provides an additional type certification on another aircraft of the same family. At the end of this course, the applicant will have comprehensive knowledge of the aircraft and autonomy on basic maintenance tasks.

Refresher
On top of type qualification, this course aims to keep maintenance staff up to date on the most important topics and latest evolutions.

Field Maintenance
This course is designed to review basic aircraft systems and perform certain maintenance tasks described in the maintenance documentation.

Advanced courses

Composite Repair
The composite repair course offers on-the-job training at organisational and intermediate levels. Customised to all helicopter types, this course has a focus on practical tasks with real material and tools. At the end of this course, the applicant has autonomy on Level 1 & Level 2 repair tasks.

Sheet Metal Repair
This repair course enables technicians to carry out basic sheet metal repair in accordance with international standards. In 15 days, the applicants will develop practical skills on heat treatment and repair using different types of rivets, lock bolts, and jo-bolts.

Mechanical Assembly
This practical course is for qualified airframe technicians that want to practice inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of major components. The course has a focus on calendar inspections, base maintenance, shop repair, main rotor head and metrology information.

Maintenance Coordinator
This course provides proficiency in airworthiness, both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, return into service and procedures with direct impact on the day-to-day operations.

Specific Avionics
The Specific Avionics course focuses on specific equipment upon request, increasing proficiency in autopilot and display systems, radio com and radio navigation systems or electricity systems.

Emergency Flotation
This one-week course is dedicated to practicing annual inspection and folding of floats. By the end of this course, the applicant will be able to inflate, deflate, fold, pack and operate the systems safely.

Maintenance Check Flights
This course enables pilots and technicians to conduct maintenance check flight, apply related procedures, check performance, or detect failure.

Main Rotor Blade Repair
This course enables technicians to inspect and repair the rotor blades in accordance with Airbus Helicopters Technical Documentation.

Tail Rotor Blade Repair
This course enables technicians to inspect and repair the tail rotor blades in accordance with Airbus Helicopters Technical Documentation.

Cable Harness Repair
This two-week course provides on-the-job training to inspect and maintain the cable/wiring harness according to the Airbus Helicopters’ technical documentation.

External Hoist Maintenance
This two-day course focuses on inspection and maintenance procedures for external hoist systems in accordance with the Technical Documentation.

Electrical Systems
This one-week course focuses on the helicopter electrical systems. By the end of this course, the applicant can understand and analyse the function and operation of all electrical systems in the aircraft.

Autopilot Hydraulic Unit
This advanced course provides in-depth knowledge on an aircraft’s Autopilot Hydraulic Unit, including detailed instruction covering its function and repair process.

Airframe Type Examination on Single-Engine Helicopters + Refresh
This one-week course with EASA T1 Type Examination at the end has been designed for experienced Maintenance staff having at least one Type Qualification on a light helicopter.

Air Conditioning
This one-week course provides skills to carry out repairing tasks on air conditioning systems. With 80% practical instruction, it is customised depending on the requested aircraft.

Technical Documentation
This course is recommended for technicians, logistics and maintenance managers in order to familiarise with the Airbus Helicopters Technical documentation.
