Airbus opens new helicopter parts centre in Western Australia

Perth, Australia, 25 September 2025 – Airbus Helicopters has officially opened its Western Australia Distribution Platform. The inauguration ceremony was hosted by Romain Trapp, Executive Vice President Customer Support and Services, Airbus Helicopters and attended by Samantha Rowe MLC, Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Premier, and Tanya Richardson, Mayor for the City of Swan.

The expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to building a responsive, locally embedded support network that ensures faster, more efficient service for all Airbus helicopter platforms across the State, especially for large aircraft like the H175. 

The newly launched facility spans 500 square metres, with the option to expand up to 1,500 square metres, allowing Airbus to scale operations in line with growing customer demand. The platform reflects Airbus’ long-term vision to build a resilient and efficient logistics backbone for helicopter operators.

The new distribution platform strengthens our ability to deliver fast, dependable service that keeps fleets mission-ready and flying safely.”

Strategically located near Perth Airport, the facility offers easy access to customs clearance and delivery services, enabling faster distribution of Airbus helicopter parts to regional operators. This new distribution platform will provide critical support for offshore and energy customers, particularly for their operations in the North West Shelf, ensuring key parts are readily available, and enabling seamless and safe operations without delay.

As an expansion of Airbus’ Australian footprint, the parts centre will support all Airbus helicopter types.
