Designed to enhance ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) capabilities, the Aliaca is a small tactical uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) that supports faster decision-making and increased operational responsiveness. Classified as a Category 2 UAS, it is available in both fixed-wing (catapult and automatic net recovery) and VTOL configurations, offering high operational flexibility for a wide range of surveillance missions, both maritime and land-based.

 

Backed by extensive experience in naval operations, this proven system with its VTOL configuration is fully adaptable to all environments. It allows for flexible payload integration, making it possible to equip the system with alternative sensors based on specific mission needs. It is also particularly well-suited for operations in confined or infrastructure-limited environments and is capable of navigating in GNSS-denied environments.

 

The system is easy to operate and simple to maintain in operational conditions, offering fast deployment day and night.

Extended reach and versatility

Dual propulsion variants

Aliaca offers two propulsion variants tailored for distinct performance profiles:

The electric version provides low noise operation, with a range of 50 km, an endurance of up to 3 hours, and a payload capacity of 2 kg.

The hybrid propulsion variant (with piston engine) doubles these capabilities, reaching a range of 100 km, 6 hours of endurance, and a payload capacity up to 3 kg. The engine is compatible with JET A1, JP5, and JP8 fuels. The Aliaca is equipped with EO/IR and AIS sensors, making it an ideal solution for surveillance missions. 

Safety is enhanced through features like the Autonomous Flight Termination System (AFTS), along with Advanced Geocaging Capabilities and a Transponder on the piston engine variant for enhanced operational control.

Proven capabilities

Aliaca is a proven uncrewed aerial system (UAS), qualified by the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) under the SMDM (Sytèmes de mini drones pour la Marine) contract. Operational since 2022 with the French Navy, Aliaca serves as the fleet's "remote binoculars," demonstrating exceptional safety and reliability. Built on over 10 years of R&D, the system is specifically designed to meet rigorous maritime demands, showing resistance to the corrosive environment and adaptation to on-board electro-magnetic constraints.
