About us

Spain is one of the four Home Nations of Airbus. Airbus in Spain is a crucial part of the company's global operations, encompassing activities in commercial aviation, defense, space, and helicopters. Spain hosts key manufacturing and R&D facilities, including the production of critical components like horizontal stabilizers for Airbus aircraft. 

Airbus Defence and Space in Spain  leads in military  aircraft and satellite production, including the A400M, C295, MRTT and Eurofighter. Airbus Helicopters, with a site in Albacete, is Spain's leading helicopter provider, notably for the Spanish Armed Forces. Airbus Spain also excels in space technology, contributing to key European missions and manufacturing satellite components. 

The company is a major player in Spain's aerospace industry, driving innovation and collaborating extensively with local partners and institutions​.
