Airbus NH90

Marignane, France, 12 December 2025 - NH Industries and the Greek Ministry of Defence have signed the follow-on support contract for their NH90 fleet. The contract, valued at €50 million, will establish a support ecosystem for the country's NH90 fleet. Over the next five years, this agreement will provide spare parts and maintenance services to significantly increase the fleet's operational availability.

"This support contract is a key milestone for the success of the NH90 fleet in Greece,” said Axel Aloccio, President of NH Industries and Head of NH90 programme at Airbus Helicopters. “We recently delivered the 20th and final NH90 to the Hellenic Army and this contract will be essential to ensuring that these state-of-the-art helicopters will be available to perform their critical missions,” he added.  

The NH90 Tactical Transport Helicopter (TTH) is an advanced multi-role military helicopter, engineered to excel in the most demanding operational theatres. The spacious cabin can be rapidly configured to transport up to 20 combat-equipped troops, accommodate 12 MEDEVAC stretchers, or carry internal cargo loaded via its full-width rear ramp. The NH90 TTH features state-of-the-art technology, including the first 100% fly-by-wire control system on a production helicopter for superior handling and safety, a fully composite airframe for enhanced durability, and an advanced avionics suite ensuring full mission capability day or night and in adverse weather conditions. The NH90 TTH is the premier choice for armed forces requiring a single, interoperable platform for missions ranging from troop transport and special operations to combat search and rescue and utility support. More than 530 NH90s have been delivered, accumulating more than 500,000 flight hours.
