About us

Airbus’ mission in the UK is simple. We help deliver UK growth through exports, highly skilled jobs and long-term capability development. We employ more than 14,000 people in the UK. This includes our UK Public Affairs Team, based between London, Filton and Broughton and Belfast who help provide a voice for our business into government.

Our UK Public Affairs Team works to foster the strategic relationship between the UK government and Airbus. Across our three core business areas (Commercial Aircraft, Helicopters and Defence and Space), we support the business through:

Protecting and advancing the reputation and competitiveness of Airbus in the UK by shaping UK policy and legislation

Positioning Airbus as a thought leader on sustainable aviation and decarbonisation

Supporting key commercial and defence campaigns in the UK and abroad

Influencing and activating Parliament, local government, devolved administrations and regional authorities to support Airbus’ priorities locally, nationally and internationally.
