Airbus has appointed Patrick de Castelbajac, 45, to lead the Company’s strategy, corporate and international development activities as well as mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as of 1 April 2017.
In his new role, de Castelbajac will report to Airbus Chief Executive Officer Tom Enders. A lawyer by training and a French-Irish national, Patrick de Castelbajac has an accomplished management career in industry and at Airbus in particular.
Before assuming his current duties in November 2016, he had served as CEO of regional aircraft manufacturer ATR since 2014. Patrick de Castelbajac started his career in industry in 1997 at MBDA (then Aerospatiale Missiles) before working for three years at Baker & McKenzie Paris office.
