Airbus stands at the edge of the digital change, constantly innovating for the future of aerospace. That is why I knew I wanted to be part of this organization.

Nuri started as an Airbus Scholar in December 2019 and then in 2022 he got hired as a Project Manager for Business Improvement and Digitalization at Airbus Hamburg, in Germany.

“Digital transformation requires both a cultural shift and a restructuring of products and services around new digital capabilities.” – says Nuri. “To me, this is the fundamental principle in the evolution and modernization process that companies need to implement, and Airbus stands at the edge of the digital change, constantly innovating for the future of aerospace. That is why I knew I wanted to be part of this organization.”- he says.

Nuri always dreamed of working in the aerospace industry and took his chance to apply to the scholarship program supported by Airbus in the United Kingdom. “When I started my scholarship programme, I had the great opportunity to get company insights and gained first practical experience with strong link to my field of study. I also had the chance to be mentored by previous scholarship holders who helped me developing my skills and gave me important career advice. It was priceless.”

Being a fresh graduate, Nuri already integrated the working life with confidence. “At Airbus, I found a supportive management, ample learning opportunities and meaningful rewards and recognition which makes it stand apart from other companies in the marketplace. Plus, working with people across geographies and with different professional backgrounds has helped me sharpen my technical, interpersonal, and overall professional skills.” – says Nuri enthusiast of his experience at Airbus so far.

Among his memorable times so far, Nuri will never forget when he got inside of an Airbus Beluga. “I will always remember it for the immensity of this airplane capacity to carry huge parts of other planes and transport it to facilitate assembly lines and the production of aircrafts”.
