With the longest endurance in its class – combined with a smaller overall profile and increased survivability in hostile environments – the C295 is perfectly adapted for the SIGINT (signals intelligence) mission.

The aircraft’s large cabin and low vibration levels provide a comfortable operating environment for the entire crew. Its discretion while on mission is enhanced by a full self-protection suite and reduced IR signature with the infrared suppression system for its twin turboprop engines.

Compliant with NATO’s Category IV requirements for special operation forces, the C295’s comprehensive baseline communication suite includes wide-band datalink, Ku/Ka-band SATCOM, HF, V/UHF radios, and tactical data link (Link 16).
