Meet Pooja

Pooja started her professional journey 3 years ago as Software Engineer at Airbus India. “It was an exciting time for me to join the Information Management Team. As a central function, my role is involved in all business processes and requires technical as well as management skills. In my job, I have the chance to study and develop a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies to support the business.” – says Pooja.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering at the PES Institute of Technology in Bangalore and made of technology innovation and digitalization her biggest passion. “Working in Information Management means living global trends such as digitalization, innovation, and new ways of working for which you need to be prepared and flexible. The challenges and opportunities are huge, and you never miss a chance to learn new things every day. That is extremely motivating and inspirational.” – she says.

Despite being a fresher, Pooja was given a lot of challenging new opportunities since the beginning, which helped her not only on the technical front but also on the soft skills side like negotiations within the team and with the client, identifying red flags early in the development cycle, learning from her colleagues’ points of view and building products together with the team.

“I think the whole journey is memorable and I think there are many experiences that make it special overall. The opportunity to create from scratch a full-fledged platform is precious and I got an exponential learning curve with the best guidance that I could ask for. I was also able to support my team in this journey which made it even more worthwhile.” – says Pooja with pride.

Today Pooja is a successful Lead Software Engineer with Digital Platforms in Information Management at Airbus India, in Bangalore.
