Quality Certifications

Aerospace Standard (AS) 9100 D is the cornerstone of Airbus Helicopters Inc.’s Quality Management System. The company’s primary facilities in Grand Prairie, Texas and Columbus, Mississippi are certified by Smithers Quality Assessments to AS9100 standards. Airbus Helicopters, Inc. also is proud of its heritage and history with the FAA and EASA airworthiness authorities. With joint collaboration between industry and these authorities, Airbus Helicopters, Inc. currently holds Production Certificates, Limited Repair Stations, and Part Manufacture Approvals at the company’s two facilities within the United States.

Supplier Quality

Airbus Helicopters, Inc.'s commitment is to meet its customers' needs in terms of quality, cost, schedule and conformance. The reliability of supplier deliveries to Airbus Helicopters, Inc. - as well as suppliers' internal quality policies / programs, in additional to learn manufacturing, FOD and continuous improvement - have a very definitive impact on overall supply chain performance.

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. has established Supplier Quality Requirements that are based on the company's Quality Assurance policy relative to deliverable products. Their purpose is to convey the company's policies to all suppliers in order to assure product integrity.

The Supplier Quality Requirement Manual provides valuable information to assit existing and/or new suppliers in conducting business with Airbus Helicopter, Inc.
