Safety is Airbus’ number one priority, and Airbus Helicopters, Inc. continues to recognize industry stakeholders working on innovative ideas to promote safety. As part of our efforts to encourage continuous innovation for safety throughout the industry, Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is pleased to award the annual Vision Zero Aviation Safety Award. The company contributes up to $10,000 to directly support the future safety efforts of an Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) program and/or operator which will benefit the industry as a whole. (can be shared with other programs.)
The Airbus Vision Zero Award’s objective is to help fund projects that give back to the aviation community in order to enhance safety. It is not designed to reward individuals or programs for achievement or an overall dedication to safety (though this is absolutely critical and something we fully support) – rather, it aims to encourage operators and teams to think ahead towards new ways we can innovate with regards to safety. Do you have an idea to share with the entire air medical community that Airbus can help kick start? Have you developed any new ideas, programs, or products that should be shared with the entire industry to improve safety? If so, the selection committee wants to hear about it!
The deadline for the Airbus Vision Zero Award is October 11, 2019.
