Future talents for an industry where excellence is key

Airbus, the aeronautical industry world leader, and ENIT, The Tarbes National Engineering School, a higher education and research establishment, signed a partnership agreement on 24 November, with a view to strengthening and developing their relationship.

This agreement includes various areas of collaboration, particularly at the level of academic life, preferential internship offerings, regular participation in conferences, forums and company visits. Furthermore, support for and the development of training/work experience for engineers, along with international cooperation and exchange programmes are also being promoted through this agreement.

Joint information and awareness-raising actions on the subject of diversity are also planned with this agreement to encourage and favour social and cultural or disability-related diversity, and inspire people to pursue careers in the aeronautical industry, particularly young women.

“We are delighted with this long-term cooperation initiative between Airbus and ENIT. It will make it possible to build more bridges between the teaching teams, ENIT students and our aeronautical industry,” declared Marc Jouenne, Head of Human Resources for Airbus in France.

“This agreement provides us with a real opportunity to consolidate the ties established over the years between Airbus and ENIT. It is a tremendous opportunity for stepping up our exchanges and enhancing our collaboration, that we hope will be fruitful and lasting,” declared Talal Masri, Director of ENIT and signatory to this agreement.

Employing more than 55,000 people of more than 100 different nationalities worldwide, Airbus, the world leading aircraft manufacturer, proposes the most modern and comprehensive family of airliners on the market, ranging in capacity from 100 to more than 500 seats.
