Airbus Corporate Jet Centre displays an exceptional VVIP cabin, combining harmonious luxury, elegance and comfort at EBACE

The fifth VVIP cabin outfitted and delivered by the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre is showcased during this year’s European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE).

Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC), the specialist in Airbus Corporate Jet VIP cabin completion and associated services, has delivered its fifth VVIP cabin, for an Airbus ACJ, which is being offered for VVIP charter by Acropolis Aviation. This elegant, comfortable and ergonomic cabin is on display to invited guests at EBACE 2010 in Geneva.

The incredible comfort of the wide and tall ACJ cabin is strengthened by the ergonomic monuments. All the equipment and seats have been designed to be very simple to use, and to offer the most comfort ever seen in a VIP charter aircraft for 19 passengers and 2 crew members. Every area features generous stowage designed for VVIP flights.

For crews, a special U-shaped galley has also been designed to offer a spacious and separated area, where they can work with ease - as in a real kitchen. This galley, specially designed with luxurious materials to maintain the same VVIP style, is the first “U-shaped galley” completed in this area on an A319 or ACJ aircraft.

The Airbus ACJ cabin also features a mood-lighting system, new touch-screen technology, and advanced passenger entertainment & communications – including a PFIS (Passenger Flight Information System), Internet and Audio & Video On Demand.

It is certificated for both public transport and private flight, giving the customer maximum flexibility in both revenue and private operations.

Operated by Acropolis Aviation, the global provider of VIP charter and aircraft management services based in UK, the aircraft is now in commercial service after a delivery successfully made on time in March.

David Crawshaw, from Acropolis Aviation Flight Support Center, says that “Acropolis considers that both the aircraft and interior completion is all to an excellent standard and is a great credit to both Airbus and also the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre team”.

About ACJC’s support, David Crawshaw adds: “ACJC’s design team showed great attention to detail, and also used its extensive design experience to guide Acropolis throughout the process”. Yves Pickardt, who designed the cabin at Alberto Pinto International Interior Design, confirms: “The team’s welcoming approach, expertise and closeness made of this partnership a real pleasure”.

Benoit Defforge, Airbus Corporate Jet Centre CEO, concludes: “With the great beauty of this cabin, we are proud to have exceeded Acropolis Aviation’s expectations. This cabin is also lighter and quieter than requested. This demonstrates our know-how and our leadership in  Airbus Corporate Jet cabin completion”.

Dedicated to providing quality cabin-outfitting and associated services for Airbus ACJ Family aircraft, the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre is backed by the full resources of its shareholder, Airbus, the world's largest manufacturer of modern airliners.

Based in Toulouse, France, ACJC has already contracted with prestigious customers in Asia, Europe and Middle East. It attributes its success to a strong technical background, plus 200 highly skilled employees that have now completed more than 15 VIP cabins for Airbus aircraft.
