The “We Make It Fly” podcast brings Airbus history to your ears

Podcast 1980x1080

Airbus has launched a new podcast series centred on personalities and key moments that defined the company’s first 50 years, as well as those that are helping to shape its present and future.

“We Make It Fly” – available on all major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify – is hosted by Jeff Burridge and Martin Agüera, both senior communications officials at Airbus.

Behind the scenes of Airbus’ success story

Each edition takes listeners behind the scenes of the company’s global success story, as told by the people who were there. Episode 1 of “We Make It Fly” – released earlier this week – features an in-depth discussion with Barbara Kracht, one of the company’s early employees and daughter of Felix Kracht, an Airbus founder.

Barbara Kracht – who worked at Airbus for almost 40 years, notably as Head of Media Relations for Commercial Aircraft – touches on a wide range of subjects in her “We Make It Fly” interview, including the company’s beginnings, her experiences during the A300 jetliner’s initial presentations to airlines, as well as challenges encountered during the early years.
