Market-leading conversion kit installed by the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre

The Airbus Corporate Jet Centre, the specialist in VIP cabin completion and associated services, has delivered a flexible conversion kit that provides multi-mission capabilities for the A320 in its corporate jet role.

The Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC) has delivered a highly flexible VIP conversion kit that brings multi-mission capabilities to the A320 in its corporate jet role. With this flexible kit, the jetliner now can seamlessly be transitioned between VIP and commercial transport operations.
Installation of this first kit – for an undisclosed customer – also was performed by the ACJC team, and required less than eight hours to complete. “The Airbus Corporate Jet Centre is now capitalising on its experience and know-how with this VIP conversion kit solution, which is the quickest to install in the current VIP market,” said Bruno Galzin, the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre’s Head of Sales and Marketing.
An aircraft’s configuration change can be performed by any EASA Part 145 organisation or Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) certified by its local authority. The ACJC’s field support team can provide customers with all the tools and support equipment necessary to perform such a change in the shortest possible time. The Airbus Corporate Jet Centre also offers training for an aircraft’s initial configuration change.
The kit allows for conversion of the forward A320 passenger area into a spacious VIP section, highlighted by two double-VIP seats and two club-four VIP seats, along with hi/lo tables. The forward area also features partitions, high-quality leather upholstery, woollen carpets and elegant curtains for a warmer ambiance and greater privacy.
The ACJC currently is handling provisions for the VIP conversion kit’s subsequent installation on a second A320 aircraft for the same customer.
