Aero-notes n°44 EN

to issue 44 of Aero-notes, the Airbus Investor Relations & Financial Communication's newsletter for individual investors.

A lot has happened for Airbus in the last two months. First we announced a partnership with Bombardier on their C Series programme in mid-October. This partnership brings together two complementary product lines to rapidly extend our product offering into a fast growing market sector.

This was shortly followed by the release of our 9-month 2017 financial results at the end of October. Results were impacted by the issues with engine manufacturers. Still, if we take these into account, our performance is on track. On this basis, we have confirmed our guidance and expect to deliver more than 700 commercial aircraft this year. This leaves us with a lot to do in the last quarter of 2017. Watch Harald Wilhelm, Airbus Chief Financial Officer, talk about the 9-month update and our priorities until the end of the year.

The focus of this edition of Aero-notes is how to put 'innovation into practice'. Learn more about the tangible milestones for some of our recent product initiatives from all business segments with Skywise, Racer and the ExoMars Rover.

Finally, we are interested in your opinion. We would like to ask for two minutes of your time to answer a couple of questions about our digital communication in our online survey.

Thank you for your interest.
Kind Regards,

Julie Kitcher

Airbus 9-month 2017 results
“The strong backlog and a healthy market environment continue to support our commercial aircraft production ramp-up plans. We confirm our outlook even though this year’s delivery schedule is extremely back-loaded, largely due to the well-known engine problems plaguing our A320neo Family.”
