Voom
Launched in 2016 as an Acubed project, Voom was created with the ambition to democratise access to the skies and transform how people move in urban environments. Over four years, it grew from a two-person project in Silicon Valley to a +30 employee outfit operating in three of the most congested metropolitan areas in the world. Voom was neither an airline nor a helicopter operator. It was a mobile booking platform that enabled travellers to book a flight in seconds and reach their destination within minutes.

Voom ceased its operations in April 2020. Airbus continues to invest in the urban mobility sector and is leveraging the knowledge gained through Voom.
