Mission & Team

Bringing safety, convenience & joy of flight to urban communities

By 2030, 60% of the world's population will be urban. This significant population growth is expected to create a real need for innovative mobility options as ground infrastructure becomes increasingly congested. We believe providing people with a safe, sustainable and convenient solution that leverages the airspace above cities is a solution.

Mission & vision

At Airbus Urban Mobility, we better connect people by bringing the safety, convenience, and joy of flight to city inhabitants.

Our vision is to help build more liveable cities for urban communities worldwide.

A comprehensive approach to urban air mobility

Making urban air mobility a safe reality is bigger than any one company. We actively engage with people, cities, regulators and companies to architect all pieces of the urban air mobility puzzle. Our approach includes building and bringing together all the critical components—technology, business models, city integration, infrastructure development, and airspace management—to take urban transport into the sky. In doing so, we can ensure maximum societal benefits for urban communities worldwide.
