Asia Pacific is an active region for the rotorcraft industry, where both the civil and military markets are showing potential for 2018. Among the helicopters generating the greatest interest, the H145 is already at the centre of talks with EMS, VIP and military operators.
The H135 Juno and the H145 Jupiter, the first two aircraft in the 32-strong fleet of the UK Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS) helicopters, can be seen together for the first time, marking the start of a new era in helicopter military flight training in the UK.
The helicopters are being used to perform surveillance, counter-terrorism, defense, public security and image-capturing missions and will be supported by Airbus Helicopters’ local customer center Helibras.
The H135 and H145 helicopters play a critical medical transport role in the United Kingdom, being well-equipped to meet the specific needs of a medical-based mission. Three air ambulance charities share their experiences.
