We all realise how important it is that we save some of our earnings throughout our working life to provide for a comfortable retirement. The Airbus UK Pension Scheme ("the Scheme") gives you a great opportunity to do this through a number of different Schedules which depend upon when you joined the Scheme.

In these pages you will find general information about the Scheme as well as links to your own pension record for secure and confidential access to personal information relating to your own pension benefits.

The Scheme is arranged into four different Schedules. To make sure you go to the right pages that apply to you, check which Schedule you are in as follows:

You are a member of the Airbus UK Retirement Plan if you were employed on or after 1 November 2013.

You are a Schedule 1 member if you joined the Scheme between 1 November 2003 and 31 October 2013. Schedule 1 is now closed to new members.

You are a Schedule 2 member if you transferred your pension from the BAE Systems 2000 Pension Plan, (this was previously from the GEC 1972 Retirement Plan).

You are a Schedule 3 member if you transferred your pension from the BAE Systems Main Pension Scheme (Level 125, 167, or 200).

The Scheme is set up as a trust which is a separate legal entity from the Airbus and which is governed by a Trustee. Whilst we have taken care to inform you about how the Scheme works through these pages and links, the trust deed and rules ultimately determine any rights and benefits you may have, and the rules will be relied upon in the event of any contradiction with these pages.
