Thomas Hundt became Airbus Helicopters’ Executive Vice President Finance in March 2020. In this role, he is a member of the Airbus Helicopters’ Executive Committee.
Serving as Senior Vice President Performance Management and Costing for Airbus Helicopters and Managing Director for Airbus Helicopters Germany from 2016 to 2020 and with overall more than 20 years of experience in Finance, he has gathered a vast expertise and knowledge in the company’s financial affairs.
Prior to joining Airbus Helicopters, Thomas Hundt, served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at the European satellite launch company Arianespace from 2014 to 2015. Before this, he held positions as Vice President Finance and Controlling for Earth Observation, Science and Navigation Satellites at Astrium (now Airbus Defence and Space) from 2011 to 2014, Vice President Finance and Controlling for Navigation Satellites from 2007 to 2011 and Vice President Division Controlling Astrium from 2004 to 2007.
Thomas Hundt holds a diploma in Business Economics from the Cooperative State University Stuttgart, Germany and an Executive MBA from IMD, Switzerland. He joined the company in 1998 as a Commercial Controller in the Tornado programme management company Panavia.
Born in 1974, he is married and has 3 children.
