Airbus Helicopters’ Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Michel Farssac, has spent his entire professional career – more than 20 years – with the Airbus Group, formerly EADS, and its business units.
He was appointed to his current position in 2011 with Eurocopter – Airbus Helicopters’ predecessor – after having served as Vice President, Talent and Executive Management for EADS from 2008 to 2011.
Farssac’s professional career started with Airbus in 1991 as a Legal Adviser for Airbus France. In 1994, he was nominated as Deputy Head of Personnel, Airbus France, and subsequently was the Head of Personnel and Employee Relations in Toulouse from 1998 to 2003.
Between 2003 and 2004, Farssac joined Airbus UK as the Human Resources Manager, Manufacturing Support. He returned to Airbus France as Vice President - Human Resources in the Center of Excellence for Airbus aircraft nose and center fuselage sections line in 2004, and served as Airbus’ Vice President - Human Resources, Industrial Processes from 2007 until 2008.
Farssac holds a post-graduate degree in Human Resources and a Masters in Business Law from the University of Toulouse in France.
