Jean-Brice DUMONT was appointed Executive Vice-President Engineering, Airbus Commercial Aircraft, effective January 1, 2018.
With over two decades of industry experience, Jean-Brice Dumont has been the Executive Vice President, Engineering, as well as Chief Technical Officer since 2012, responsibilities that he began with Eurocopter, Airbus Helicopters’ predecessor company.
Dumont joined Eurocopter in February 2004. He worked as an Engineer and Development Project Manager for the NH90 program, prior to becoming the NH90 Chief Engineer and NH Industries’ Technical Director from 2008 to 2012.
A licensed French Army Aviation pilot, Dumont started his career with the country’s DGA military procurement agency in 1996, where he worked on the Tiger and Super Puma rotorcraft programs before ultimately being appointed the organization’s Chief Test Director for the Tiger helicopter in 2002.
Dumont is a graduate of France’s École Polytechnique and of the ISAE Aerospace Institute.
