Christoph Zammert became Executive Vice-President Customer Support & Services in September 2019. In this role he is a member of the Airbus Helicopters Executive Committee and in charge of driving the Customer Support & Services main business lines: Technical Support, Spares, MRO as well as Training and Connected Services.
Previously Head of Programme Support since 2016, Zammert brings to his new role 20 years of experience at Airbus, ten of which involved working directly with customers.
Zammert first joined Airbus Helicopters in 2009 in a programme management role after having led large transnational and cross-functional organisations since the beginning of his career. In this position he gained extensive knowledge of large-scale international cooperations for complex development programmes, always keeping the interests of the customers at heart.
Prior to joining Airbus Helicopters, Zammert worked in Airbus as Head of A400M Electrical Systems Installation and was involved in a major transformation and efficiency improvement initiative.
Holding an aerospace engineering degree from the University of Stuttgart, Zammert joined Airbus in 2001 as a member of the Airbus-wide graduate management trainee programme with his first assignment as a development engineer for the propulsion system of the Ariane 5 launcher.
Born in 1974, he is married and has three children.
