Strategy & Business Development Manager

Job located in: Delhi, India 
The jobholder will work in close coordination with the Head of Airbus Helicopters in India and South Asia, the local Strategy team and with all the central business development teams, in particular the Sales and Business Development team.

Accountabilities:
In consonance with the growth of aviation sector in India, Airbus has identified India and as a strong prospect for business growth in the Civil, Parapublic and Military markets. The jobholder will be accountable of ensuring a full understanding of the market needs and trends in South Asia comprising India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives and to ensure local support for all business related activities by the sales teams. This will include working upfront in the identification of the market trends, business opportunities and partnership targets, developing the partnership scope and business set-up.

 

Main Activities:

  • Ability to build and develop relations with central and local authorities as well as with local firms of high standard;
  • Creativity and conception of industrial set-up schemes for the Divisions in the conduct of his responsibilities;

Main Responsabilities:

  • Strategy and Business Development in India and South Asia:
  • Collect, analyze and share the market needs/trends and the competitive landscape on to proactively propose solutions in line with local market expectations and potential
  • Keep up to date information on the evolution of the competition in particular in the field of Civil, Parapublic and Military Market and Campaigns
  • In line with the strategic priorities defined by Airbus Helicopters in India, identify and propose new business opportunities and associated partners adapted to the Indian market specifically keeping Indigenisation requriements for NUH and MRO activities in India
  • Bring to EBPI team the local expertise on any business development projects
  • Local support to Business Development initiatives

Senior Application Developer – J2EE Full Stack

Activities:

  • Develop and prototype new FMS/FCS functions to support the system design teams.
  • System V&V of FMS/FCS functions
  • Ensure support for integration of the model/prototype on different simulation platforms to facilitate pilot-in-the-loop evaluations.
  • Define the evolutions of the models/prototypes based on the evaluation sessions and the product road-map.

Description:

Associate Engineer - System Simulation

  • Simulation plays a major role in the aircraft development cycle by ensuring system maturity at early stages of development, whether for new aircrafts or for continuous improvement of in-service aircrafts.
  • As part of this activity, Airbus India develops models (functional/physics-based models/architecture mockups) of physical systems (engines, electrical, hydraulics, fuel etc.) as well as system controllers (Auto flight, Ice and rain protection, Fire protection etc.), constantly steering for exact match with real system and respecting real time performance.
  • Airbus India is also in charge of integrating the simulation models for making simulators that are used by the system designers and the pilot training teams.

System Testing Engineer

Role Purpose:

The tester’s principal aim is to confirm and support the safe, reliable and effective operation of Airbus product related features and functions across sub-system, system and aircraft levels, primarily using ground based test rigs and the analysis of flight test and in-service data. 

The jobholder will contribute to the Avionics system Integration testing by preparing & performing system tests and analyse the test results on all Airbus programs using Remote and/or Virtual Test Means. 

Main Responsibilities  

Carry Out:

  • Define System testing methods, strategy and planning, execute tests, record results, perform analysis, record and classify defects. Writing summaries of test outcomes, Test Result Analysis, certification cards
  • Use of appropriate means to perform real time analysis and support to flight test, the analysis and defect identification from flight test analysis  - reporting on system behaviour from Flight Test Report execution, produce Flight Test Report Analysis
  • The investigation and analysis of in-service events, using ground rigs to reproduce events and support RCA. Create and implement development test for In-Service problems
  • The specification and validation of instrumentation on the test means for a given campaign  

Contribute To:

  • The formulation and planning of test programme through participation in the necessary reviews and milestones of the testing process
  • The upstream V&V/Test Strategy required for a propose design (can be from review/advisory) to involvement and direct responsibility.  Use knowledge of both system under test and test means capability.  Challenge test requests as and when appropriate. Involvement in supplier testing.

  • Customer Services Digital Solution (SD) is responsible for the delivery of Digital Solutions on Maintenance and Engineering perimeter, internally for Customer Services and externally to airlines, MROs and lessors.
  • Digital Engineering (SDE) is in charge of designing and delivering software solutions in collaboration with IM, DTO and other involved domains, from experimentation to industrialization, including evolutive and corrective maintenance. Methodology is evolving from a traditional V cycle and single agile teams to the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology to be able to scale up to large development teams.
