Avionics software Developer

Job located in: Bangalore, India

System Testing Engineer – Avionics System Integration Tests

Job located in: Bangalore, India

Job Description:

 

The tester’s principal aim is to confirm and support the safe, reliable and effective operation of Airbus product related features and functions across sub-system, system and aircraft levels, primarily using ground based test rigs and the analysis of flight test and in-service data.

 

The jobholder will contribute to the Avionics system Integration testing by preparing & performing system tests and analyse the test results on all Airbus programs using Remote and/or Virtual Test Means.

 


Main Responsibilities:

 

Carry Out:

 

  • Define System testing methods, strategy and planning, execute tests, record results, perform analysis, record and classify defects. Writing summaries of test outcomes, Test Result Analysis, certification cards.
  • Use of appropriate means to perform real time analysis and support to flight test, the analysis and defect identification from flight test analysis  - reporting on system behavior from Flight Test Report execution, produce Flight Test Report Analysis.
  • The investigation and analysis of in-service events, using ground rigs (real and/or simulated) to reproduce events and support RCA. Create and implement development test for In-Service problems
  • The specification and validation of instrumentation on the test means for a given campaign

Flight Safety Analyst

Job located in: Bangalore, India

Professional Experience: 5-10 Years


Job Description:

  • This position will be responsible for assisting in the overall gathering, validating, tracking, and analyzing flight Safety Data.
  • Flight data studies and investigations will be done at the direction of Safety and Flight Operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Verifies downloaded data for accuracy, integrity and validity.
  • Performs data analysis, root cause analysis, and assists in identifying adverse events or trends in flight operations.
  • Maintains FOQA event database, write database queries, program new FOQA events, and manage documentation supporting these functions.
  • Prepare flight operations trending analysis and charts.

System Installation Engineer – AIRFRAME

Description:

Physical Design & Integration (PDI) team is responsible for Airframe Electrical System Installation (ESI) & Mechanical System Installation (MSI) Architecture and Integration activities. Type Rating Instructor (TRI)

Job Experience – 10 Years

 

Job Description:

  • The Type Rating Instructor will conduct simulator training, line training and line checking / Initial Operating Experience (IOE) on A320 family aircraft.
  • He/she shall have good knowledge and communication skill for imparting training and evaluate trainees progress.
  • He shall be free from prejudice and strong likes and dislikes.
  • He/she should be capable of instilling high standard of discipline among the aircrew and shall have balanced attitude towards them.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct line training and line checking / Initial Operating Experience (IOE) for pilots in the airline
  • Conducting simulator training on Airbus Pilot Transition (APT) trainers, Full Flight simulators(FFS), including briefing, debriefing to the required standard, as directed by the  Head of Flight Training and in adherence with the Airbus Standards and Flight training policy
  • Deliver any other specific training courses as required
  • To update his/her professional and technical knowledge on the applicable regulation, training procedures etc.
  • Gives minimum contact days as agreed with the Head of Flight Training
  • Support safety initiatives related to Training and Flight Operations
  • Contribute towards ensuring the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 

Specialized knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Hold an valid ATPL license

Job Description:

  • The job holder is responsible for delivering Global Architecture Mockup and associated System engineering tasks for different aircraft programs on Time, Cost and Quality.

 

The various activities to be performed are:

  • Creation and update of Physical System architecture based upon a given Target configuration and associated input:
    - Screening and Implementation of Change Request
    - Convergence check of Geometry between Global Architecture Mockup  and  Detailed design (Digital Mockup) and necessary implementation
    - Convergence check of electrical routes/function between Global Architecture Mockup  and CIRCE (Treatment estimation tool)
    - Check and implementation of  Electrical Schematics (Functional diagram) in Global Architecture Mockup

Description:

Responsible for the design and development of reports, dashboards, enhanced visuals for data analytics in Finance domain using SAP tools.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Engineering graduate (BE/BTech/MS/MTech) with 7-12 years of experience in the field of IT/Software firms.
  • Strong and proven hands on experience (minimum 5 to 7 years) in SAP reporting technologies - Design and development Experience with Data and Analytics tools such as, SAP Business Objects Suite( Lumira, Design Studio, Crystal Reports, WebI, Predictive Analytics, Data Services and Information Steward).

Systems Engineer – Inservice Support Cabin Systems

Required Education:

  • B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E., preferably with experience in the aerospace industry

Experience:

  • 5-10 years: System Engineering tasks (system simulation, system design, architecture, V&V, customer interaction) involving Multiple aircraft systems

Responsibilities :

  • Support the development, specification, V&V and in service support activities in the perimeter of the Cabin systems.
  • Actively work with the system designers, the lab testing teams during the V&V campaigns of the system across multiple aircraft programs.

Job Description:

The job holder is responsible for justification of the damages and repair solutions from fatigue and damage tolerance (F&DT) point of view on Time, Cost and Quality. The job holder will work in close collaboration with a design and static colleague to provide a suitable repair solution. The end customers are Airlines/MRO.

The various activities to perform are:

  • Create high quality integrated and certified engineering repair solutions for the airlines and internal customers within the given time.
  • Carry out F&DT calculations to assess design solutions using standard hand and computer methods. Further create, compile and coordinate engineering documentation to achieve valid technical data for repairs.
  • Liaise with Design, Static and other appropriate Airbus departments to come up with optimum design solutions for the airline customer and to define maintenance programs.
  • Liaise with Principal and Senior F&DT in order to ensure that methods, assumptions, data and procedures reflect on-going developments. 
  • Ensure with its technical signature delegation, that final repair is brings the aircraft back into an airworthy condition.
  • Identify and support local improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency through process, methods and tools improvements ensuring alignment with respective European focal points.
  • Ensure all tasks and activities required for Repair Engineering are correctly planned, monitored and executed to achieve customer time scales.
  • With good customer skills, provide responses for routine repairs queries, giving advice and guidance as required within Airbus Operations and Customer Services on repair matters.
