TECHNICAL SERVICE ENGINEER

Activities: 

  • Ensuring Technical support to Maintenance is provided for continued airworthiness and reliability of aircraft, engines, avionics and related equipment’s.
  • Conducting event analysis and other technical investigations as needed and suggest improvement for effective maintenance Program.

  • Configuration control of aircraft, modification and weight & balance.
  • To ensure that all EASA/ FAA Ads / DGCA Mandatory modifications, mandatory & recommended Service Bulletins are compiled as appropriate. All Operators Transmissions, FOTs etc. that pertain to airline aircraft / engines / avionics components or systems are reviewed and complied when applicable.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for aircraft/engine/avionics components or system problems which may cause aircraft delays, cancellation, substantial expenditures in manpower or material or interruption in maintenance operations and initiates the action required to remedy any desirable conditions as detected.
  • Provide technical support as required for disposition of discrepant condition affecting aircraft/engine/avionics components or systems so as to restore its serviceable status.
  • Initiates the action required to ensure that source documents affected by Engineering actions are updated to reflect the current data, configuration and accuracy.
  • Analyse technical data from aircraft maintenance logs, MIS system, aircraft service records and shop finding reports to determine cause and failure trends.
  • Production and distribution of fleet Performance report used to monitor and evaluate the mechanical performance of the fleet.
  • Administer the Airline reliability Program. This program identifies measures, controls, and report on aircraft structural, system components and power plant mechanical performance reliability.
  • Conduct studies, statistical and analytical surveys technical monitoring, investigates failures, delay/defect analysis, flight incidents, in-depth shop and hardware discrepancies so as to improve dispatch reliability.
  • Submit analysis data to, provide for the operation of the reliability control board.
  • Review by preparing Technical Directives Evaluation TED for all airworthiness Directives, the latest revision of all EASA/ FAA/ Ads and DGCA Mandatory modifications that pertain to fleet aircraft/engines/ APU/ System or components and determining action required to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Reviews SBs by preparing TDE only for categories Mandatory & Recommended and SIL, AOT etc. for applicability and system reliability and or economic benefits and determining action required to ensure compliance.
  • Prepares engineering documents such as Engineering Order Eos, Work Cards Wcs, to provide technical disposition for repairs, modification, inspection or other maintenance actions which provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives.
  • Develop technical data required for modifications/repair of aircraft/power plant/ APU/ system or components. Obtain approval required for modification/ repairs performed on fleet aircraft/power plant/APU/ system or components, seeks manufacturer’s permission/guidelines for modification/repair in consultation with the HOD.
  • Delay review of defects reported on the fleet aircraft.
  • Preparation and amendment od MEL, Procedure sheets, Forms etc.
  • Preparation of Engineering Drawings.
  • Preparation and amendment of LOPA & Emergency Equipment drawings.

Required Domain Expertise: 

  • AME Diploma or Engineering Degree, licence on A320 or any airbus fleet.

Required Technical Expertise: 

  • Exposure to structural inspection / damages assessment and repair process will be added advantage.

Experience: 

  • 8 years of paid working experience with min 5 years in technical services environments.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

  • Prior to undertaking certification work the AMEs must ensure that their AME License is current and valid, they have necessary skills to perform the work and have undergone necessary trainings, including continuation training in the preceding 24 months. In addition, wherever applicable, Avionics category AMEs shall be responsible to ensure that R/T license is current and valid.t 
  • To ensure all technicians / apprentices follow all relevant safety practices and procedures at all times.

  • Managing and updating soft copy of all technical Documents on the company portal.
  • Co-ordinate with OEMS, Vendors and third parties to get continues inputs and latest updates on behalf of the airline.

Required Domain Expertise: 

  • AME diploma or Engineering Degree.

Experience: 

  • 5 years of working with min 3 years as Technical Documentation Controller / Administrator with any Airbus operator.
