To qualify for these positions you must be enrolled in a university and able to work in an English and German speaking environment.
We recommend that you apply at least 6 months in advance to give us adequate time to process your application.

Q. Will an internship, a working student position or a final year project improve my chances of securing a full-time career with Airbus?

A. Performing well could improve your chances. Our placements provide a vital pool of potential candidates. When participants apply for places on our graduate programme, we ask each to outline their individual competences, aptitudes and experience and make our final selection after assessing candidates on a global basis.

Q: Can I apply directly for a final year thesis position?

A: Yes, in Germany we have advertised all our final year thesis projects. But very often there is as well the possibility to write your final year thesis after your internship.

Q. Do I qualify for an internship?

A. Airbus operates internships for trainees at all levels of studies whether you are doing a bachelor, master or diploma.

Q: What documents do I need to supply for my application?

• CV
• A letter of interest with your preferred period for the internship
• The internship guidelines of your university
• Proof of matriculation at your university
• Your university grades -
Q: How is the selection process organised?

A: The Recruitment Center preselects the applications and forwards the qualified ones to the manager. Afterwards the invitations for interviews are being sent.

Q: Do I get paid for my internship, final year thesis or working student position?

A: Yes, all these positions are paid. The amount depends on the kind position. Internships which last less than 3 months are not paid.

Q: How long does it take to receive an answer for my application?

A: It usually takes us 2-3 weeks to reply to your application.

Q: How long does a final year project last?

A: The duration of a final year project depends on the requirements of the dedicated university.

Q: How long do working student positions last?

A: It normally lasts from 6 to 24 months.

Q. How long do internships last?

A. This depends on your level of study. The normal period of time lies between 3 to 6 months. <o:p></o:p>
