Living and working in France
Toulouse
Toulouse is France’s fourth-largest city with some 430,000 inhabitants. It’s also the country’s third-largest university town with 110,000 students. Located between the Mediterranean, Atlantic coast and Pyrenees ski resorts, it’s an excellent place to live and work, with a rich heritage and vibrant cultural scene. Toulouse is well known for its role in the aeronautical and space industries. Companies from other major sectors are also based here including electronics, health-related industries, food processing and IT.
Nantes/Saint-Nazaire
Both Nantes and Saint Nazaire are located on the Atlantic coast just two hours by TGV from Paris (20 shuttles per day) and the same by plane from most European capitals. Gateway to the Brittany ports, the area is home to major tourist sites such as Mont Saint-Michel, the Puy du Fou, Brittany, the Futuroscope and the "Châteaux de la Loire".
