Volunteer for International Experience
The Airbus Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) Programme is a great start to your career because it enables you to gain invaluable paid work experience internationally in a technical or business function.
About the programme
Assignments are worldwide and typically last between one and two years. They are within one of our technical or business functions including engineering, manufacturing or support functions such as finance, marketing and HR.
We look for highly motivated graduates who are citizens of the EU (including Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) and have fulfilled the country’s military obligations, if required. Ideally, applicants are from an engineering or business school with an innovative mind and a deep desire to learn. Some experience working abroad is useful, fluency in English is essential and knowledge of other relevant languages is an advantage.
VIEs can start their work experience at different times of the year depending on specific project requirements. A great range of benefits includes a tax-free salary (€1,200-3,200 per month, depending on country), 2.5 days' holiday per month, medical insurance and pension contribution.
The VIE programme is run by Ubifrance in conjunction with Airbus. Ubifrance manages all the administrative aspects of the assignment and ensures that the student’s rights are protected. Click here for further information (in French).
