Our Direct Entry Graduate (DEG) Programme offers exceptional graduates the opportunity to master managerial and technical skills. It combines structured placements with focused training and the possibility of international assignments.

The DEG programme is a two-year programme (three years for Finance) that combines a number of placements with specialist training in the UK, as well as France, Germany and Spain. We look for high-achieving dynamic graduates who are fluent in written and spoken English.

If you meet the required performance level, it will give you the chance to enjoy a great future at Airbus. From day one, you will be assigned to a particular department, and will be guided through the various placement opportunities that exist within your function, the wider business and even with customers and suppliers.

Additionally, there are a number of valuable training opportunities that cover subjects such as behavioural development and personal effectiveness, business awareness, technical understanding and cultural awareness.

Two important features of the programme are a senior level mentor who is on hand to offer guidance during your career progression, and a ‘buddy’ DEG from the previous year’s intake for extra support.

While the programme is structured, it isn’t rigid. It offers you the opportunity to tailor your first two years with Airbus, to ensure you are ready and experienced enough to enter a permanent role following the programme’s conclusion.
