Apprenticeships in the UK
We are now accepting applications for our 2013 Apprenticeship Programmes.
We offer highly sought-after apprenticeship programmes at both our UK sites, Filton (Bristol) and Broughton (North Wales). All our programmes last three years and combine college or university studies with practical training.
Our enhanced Higher or “Undergraduate” Apprenticeship leads to a BEng with Honours in Aeronautical Engineering Manufacture. A combination of job-related and academic training, the “Undergraduate” Apprenticeship provides an outstanding opportunity for participants to go to University and attain a degree without any accompanying debt.
Our Craft Apprenticeship includes a qualification that contains a significant element of training on composites materials. Composites are an essential part of new wing technology at Airbus, and will be used extensively in the A350XWB wings.
In the UK, we offer Craft, Higher and "Undergraduate" Apprenticeships. Together these programmes provide a clear progression route and applicants can choose between different entry routes according to their level of educational achievement and abilities.
If you are uncertain about the suitability of your qualifications, take a look at the education guidelines from the UK Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). This will tell you the qualifications considered to be equivalent to those we have mentioned.
