Beijing
As part of the Airbus global training and support network, the Hua Ou Aviation Training Centre in Beijing provides services for the training of flight crews, cabin attendants and maintenance personnel.
As a joint venture of Airbus China and the China Aviation Supplies Holding Company, it fully meets Airbus standards and has received “Quality Assurance System” approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China – which ensures reliable and high-quality flight training facilities in the country.
A320 and A340 Family simulators
Since receiving the first group of pilots in October 1997, the Hua Ou Aviation Training Centre has trained crews from more than 30 airlines worldwide. Over 24,000 professionals – including pilots, cabin attendants, maintenance technicians, performance/operations personnel and structure technicians – have been trained at the facility.
This 12,300-square-metre training centre is equipped with four full flight simulators for Airbus aircraft: three for the A320 Family, and one for the A330/A340 Family. One of the A320 Family simulators is upgradable to support flight training of the A320neo – Airbus’ new engine option version of its single-aisle jetliner family.
It also manages the daily operation and maintenance for an EC225 helicopter simulator, which belongs to Eurocopter – another subsidiary of parent company EADS.
