- Bangalore’s new flight training centre, which was established by Airbus and CAE, is located near Bengaluru International Airport
The Airbus Engineering Centre India in Bangalore which started its operations in April 2007, is part of EADS Technology Centre India.
The Airbus Engineering Centre India is 100% owned subsidiary of Airbus.
The Airbus Engineering Centre India focuses on the development of advanced capabilities in the areas of Modelling & Simulation as well as in applications on Airbus products, closely co-operating with other Airbus Engineering offices worldwide as well as with the Indian aviation industry.
In February 2011, Airbus Training India inaugurated its flight training centre near Bangalore’s Bengaluru International Airport. Equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms and screening facilities, this new facility eventually will be able to train up to 1,000 pilots and maintenance engineers annually.
Did you know?
Airbus has an international network of support centres, training centres and spares' stores as well as 160 field offices around the world where nearly 300 resident customer support managers assist airlines in their daily operations.
