Flight & cabin crew training

Flight & Cabin crew training courses provide training services required for a successful entry into service and continued operation in the best conditions of safety and satisfaction.

The Toulouse facility has nine full-flight simulators[A310/A300-600 (1), A320 (3), A330/A340 (3),A380(2)], a series of Fixed Based Simulators and diverse PC based System Trainers for all aircraft types as well as a cabin emergency and evacuation trainers, and with door trainers. Trainees can also view aircraft on the assembly line.

The extensive use of computer-based training technology provides a significant degree of “portability” to Airbus courses, allowing instructors to conduct ground school classes right at the customers’ own locations.

All courses are designed and developed in Toulouse, not only specific to flight crews, maintenance staff and cabin attendants, but also in general terms for structure repair specialists (composite), and engineering and operational personnel.

As part of the practical training for mechanics, students have the advantage of viewing real aircraft at the nearby assembly line. Other innovations also have been developed in Toulouse, including the integration of behaviour training into the technical training (Crew Resource Management, CRM).
