A flying display of the Airbus A318 Elite corporate airliner was the center of attention at the opening day of the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, which continues through 5 May. Also on display at EBACE is the A319 Long Range corporate jet, which features a new cabin.
The European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) 2006 has opened in Geneva, Switzerland with all eyes on the A318 Elite corporate airliner on flying display at the opening day. The A319 Long Range corporate jet, outfitted with a new cabin, is on static display.
EBACE is dedicated to business aviation - the market sector that concerns air travel organised and operated either by corporations or by charter airlines on behalf of corporations. In recent years the sector has grown in importance as companies increasingly focus on global growth and operations.
Airbus has a large stand at the exhibition, which lasts from May 2 to 5. Some 7,700 attendees have pre-registered for the show. Along with the major airframers, attendees include airports and aviation authority representatives, aviation component and engine manufacturers.
For details on the EBACE announcement of JETALLIANCE becoming the first Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ) customer in Austria, see the press release.
