Royal Jordanian becomes new A319 operator

Royal Jordanian received its first A319 on 13 March in Hamburg in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein. Royal Jordanian's Vice Chairman of the Board and CEO, Mr. Samer A Majali, was delighted with the new product. "By 2014, our fleet of aircraft will grow to 34, and today we have great pleasure in taking delivery of the first of six Airbus A319 aircraft, which will help impose our airline as a leading intra-regional carrier", he declared. The airline has been an Airbus customer since 1987.
