New stamp celebrates A380
26 June 2006
News in brief
Airbus has joined forces with La Poste, the French post office, to launch a special A380 commemorative stamp for the Salon du Timbre show in Paris. The stamp, which features the aircraft in flight, will cost three euros and will be available from all post offices. This is not the first time an Airbus aircraft appears on a stamp. In 1973 the A300B was honoured with a stamp that remained in circulation for almost a year.
